Jeremiah Silas Martin

Jeremiah “Sy” Silas Martin was born January 2, 1976, in Clovis, N.M.

He died Sunday, August 9, 2020, in Stroud at the age of 44 years.

Martin served in the United States Navy and was an oil field operator.

His father John Stanley Martin preceded him in death.

Survivors include his mother Barbara Karen Gove (Shumate); his wife Lana Martin; his children, Reed, Rylan, Silas Kaige and Kastor; his brother John Seth Martin; one grandmother; and other family and friends.

A funeral service was held Saturday, August 15, 2020, at Friends Church in Chandler.

Services were under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
