Ruthann Kluender of Chandler was born June 26, 1944, in Omaha, Neb. She died November 11, 2020 in Stillwater, Okla., at the age of 76 years.
Kluender, the daughter of Max and Ruth (Flynn) Hostetter, married Jack Hollopeter on September 21, 1967, in Valentine, Neb. Following his death, she married William “Bill” Kluender on June 6, 1997.
A 1962 graduate of Valentine High School, she retired from Farm Bureau Insurance.
She was preceded in death by her first husband and her parents.
Survivors include her husband Bill of Chandler; her children and their spouses, Jay and Dusty Hollopeter of Kilgore, Neb., Jodi Mathis of Box Elder, S.D., and Jeanne Hollopeter of Chandler; her stepsons and their spouses, Darwin and Eva Kluender and Kalen and Keri Kluender, all of Akron, Iowa.
She is also survived by nine grandchildren; her sisters, Jeanne Albin and Eileen Wilson and her husband Jim; and other family and friends.
Ruthann’s life will be celebrated at a later date.
