Clinton Eugene “Nubbin” Nixon was born on November 22nd, 1941 to Newell and Bertha (DeCamp) Nixon in Fresno, California. He passed away February 22nd, 2020 in Jones, Oklahoma at the age of 78.

Clinton proudly served his country after he was drafted into the United States Army in 1963. He spent some time in Nuremberg, Germany while enlisted. Many great stories came from his time there as he was a gifted storyteller. Nubbin got a lot of nieces and nephews in trouble for trying to recreate the crazy stories he told. He was a very talented lead guitar player who on many Friday and Saturday nights could be found playing with his brothers Paul D. and Richard. In December 1963, they made a tape to send to his aunt in California. We still enjoy listening to it to this day. On April 5th, 1966 he married Malene Cunningham. Almost one year later, April 4th, 1967, their son Brad Eugene was born.

Nubbin was preceded in death by his parents, Newell and Bertha; brothers, Chester Nixon, Thomas Nixon, and Paul D. Nixon. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Malene Nixon; son, Brad Nixon, and grandson, Branden Nixon; daughter, Shyanne and grandson, Blaine.
