Harold Richard Harris Jr. was born October 23, 1957, in Farmington, N.M., and died Monday, June 29, 2020 at his home in Florence, Miss. He was 62 years old.
Harris worked as an insurance claims professional and was a member of Marvin United Methodist Church in Florence.
His father, Harold Richardson Harris Sr., preceded him in death.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Joyce and Larry Whitman of Dayton, Texas; his stepmother, Viola Harris of Luther, Okla.; his wife of 39 years, Rhonda Harris, of Florence; their children, Brett Russell Harris of Memphis, Tenn., and Brooke Harris Lindborg of Virginia Beach, Va.
He is also survived by his brother, Randy Harris of Cushing, Okla., and sister, Debbie Harris of Crested Butte, Colo.; and other relatives and friends.
A funeral service was held Thursday, July 2, 2020 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. A graveside service was held Sunday, July 5, 2020, at the Luther Cemetery. Local arrangements were under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
