Josephine Marie Plummer Fisher Toles peacefully joined her Heavenly Father on February 29, 2020 at Winfield Living Center in Winfield, KS.

She was born on July 12, 1937 in Centrilia, Oklahoma to Clem M. and Mildred Virginia Moreland Plummer and was the youngest 4th child out of 6 children.

She attended school in Delaware, Oklahoma and South Park School in Merriam, Kansas.

Aside from being a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, Josephine spent her career working as a Certified Nursing Aide as well as a Certified Physical Therapist.

She enjoyed caring for others so much that after she retired, she continued providing care for her family members and friends that were in need.

Josephine was a woman who loved serving others. She was always willing to lend a helping hand and lift others up in prayer. Her goal in life was to love others with the love of God.

She enjoyed gardening, flowers, traveling, her computer, and had a great love for her family as well as friends.

Josephine was baptized into the General Assembly and Church of the First born on June 10, 1956 where she remained a member until her passing.

On September 8, 1956 she was married to Willard Fisher in Miami, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on April 10, 2000.

She then married Kenneth Dale Toles on October 28, 2001 in Bristow, Oklahoma. He also preceded her in death on January 5, 2006.

Surviving family members include 5 children Teresa and Gary Overman of Renfro Oklahoma; son Paul and Laurie Fisher of Arkansas City, KS; Carolyn and Bruce Gilliam of Tulsa, Ok; Kenneth and Melissa Toles of Stroud, OK; Charles and Lori Toles of Bristow, Oklahoma; 35 grandchildren, 62 great grandchildren, 43 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Family members proceeding her in death are her parents, 5 siblings-Norman Plummer, Virgil Plummer, Jack Plummer, Raymond Plummer, and Shirley Carson; 3 Children Billy Plummer, Jerry Toles, and Donald Toles; 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Friday, March 6 at the Parkland cemetery, Parkland Oklahoma at 1:00 p.m.
