Reva Colleen McBride was born January 9, 1947, in Yale, Okla. She died Monday, November 18, 2019, at the age of 72 years.
The daughter of Issac and Clois Thornsbury Stephens, she married Cecil “Gene” McBride on January 6, 1966, in Olive, Okla.
She worked as a hairdresser and beauty shop operator.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband; one daughter, Debbie Sam; and her siblings, Arlene Story, Don Stephens, Vivian (Fowble) Brake, Laveta Shackleford, and Coeta Robertson.
Survivors include her children, David Hunt of Carney, Larry and Terri McBride of Cushing, Okla., and Mark McBride of Bellefonte, Pa.; one brother, Bobby Ray Stephens; two sisters, June Osborn and Kathy Beshears; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Memorial services were held Friday, November 22, 2019, at First Assembly of God Church in Carney with Pastor Bo Gibbs officiating.
Arrangements were under the direction of Davis Funeral Home in Cushing.
