Roberta Faye Wallis, 81, of Stroud, Oklahoma passed away December 30, 2022. Roberta was born October 26, 1941 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Robert Lee and Daisy Faye Nelson.
After graduating from High School, Roberta became a cook and a caregiver.
Roberta is preceded in death by her husband Darrell Leon Wallis, parents Robert Lee and Daisy Faye Nelson, brother Phillip Nelson, daughter- in-law Vickie Rinehart, and brother-in-law Nolan Martin.
Those left to cherish Roberta’s memory are her children Gerald King Jr. of Stroud, Naomi Spaulding (David) of Shawnee, Donald King of Oklahoma City, Chrystal McPherson (Eric) of Stroud, and Cannie Smith (Robert) of Kendrick; bonus daughters Laura Walton, and Gina Wallis; siblings Bobby Nelson (Donna) of Fayetteville, AR, George Bruce Nelson, Sherry Martin of Meeker, and Nancy Robison (Chris) of Harrah; 18 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
A funeral service was held January 4, 2023 at Resthaven Funeral Home in Shawnee. Services were under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.
