The Tigers didn’t score much against Meeker and Prague last week, but they didn’t need to, thanks to Bryce Hughey, Blake Parrick and Seth Cline.

The three Stroudpitchers combined to allow two runs in 10 innings and let the Tigers take identical 2-1 victories in a three-way set at Meeker.

Those wins lifted Stroud’s record to 4-0, where it will stay for a while, thanks to an indefinite suspension of the season due to the coronavirus. Hughey got the win over Prague, scattering three hits and giving up a run in four innings. Cline got the final three outs.

Against Meeker, Hughey pitched all five innings, allowing just three hits.

Chayton Ellick was the hitting star of the day, going three for four, combined, in the two games.
