1. Update on T-SET (Tobacco Settlement) A. 12 signs were placed on Culver St. designating it as a bicycle pathway to and from our Elementary School. This should elevate our T-SET program to a Gold level. This will mean an additional $12,000 we will receive.

We took a peek back through the fi rst 50 issues of newspaper for 2020 and pulled out a few highlights from the each week’s news. As you can imagine, there was a lot of COVID-related news, but there was a lot of life-goes-on news, both good and bad.

COVID continues climb

The number of deaths attributed to COVID-19 has jumped again in both Pottawatomie and Lincoln Counties in the last few days, the Oklahoma State Department of Health reports. There have been four more deaths in Pottawatomie County in the last seven days.

Stroud board accepts bids for new baseball complex

The Stroud Board of Education during a recent special meeting approved a bid package for the new Stroud baseball complex.
