4-H Talent

Local 4-H members were able to take part in the 4-H Has Talent contest on Jan. 24 at the Prague Public Schools Auditorium in Prague. Members could compete with one individual talent and one small or large group act.

The community is invited to join the Stroud Ag Booster’s Club for a dinner, auction and show on Saturday, February 8th at Stroud Memorial Gym. A pulled pork and bologna dinner will be served starting at 4:30 p.m. followed by a livestock show and auction of desserts and other items. Dinner is $12.

Bond revoked for Stroud man

A $50,000 bond has been revoked for a Stroud man facing two rape charges and two other felonies following his arrest by the Stroud police chief and a new bond has been set.

Charges in assault on officers

A Chandler man is facing three felonies and two misdemeanors for allegedly assaulting three officers with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office and another individual.Three charges of assault and battery on a police officers were formally filed in December against Royce Walker Weathers, 31.

Suspended sentences after blind plea
