County opens bids for new jail

Lincoln County commissioners during a special meeting this week opened bids for the renovation of the county jail and voted to table them until their regular meeting next Monday, Dec. 2.Commissioners opened six bids at Monday’s meeting.

Meeker board amends retirement system

Meeker’s Town Board of Trustees this week approved an ordinance amending the employee retirement system and defined benefit plan for the Town of Meeker.They adopted a revised and restated retirement plan to eligible employees for the Town approved by the IRS.
