The list of nominees for District Judge, District 23, in Lincoln County has been narrowed to three, the Judicial Nominating Commission has announced.The JNC conducted in-person interviews with five applicants on June 4.

Shay, an Irish Wolfhound, lopes after the bunny on the 405 FastCat & K9 Speedway track. The pup participated in a seminar on June 22 for the AKC dog sport Fast Cat, a timed 100-yard dash. Muscles tensed as the whirl of the lure filled the air alongside excited pants of dogs of various ages and sizes. Just under that was the soft thump of tails hitting soft grass.“Ready… tally ho!” Underneath an awning, a woman stepped back, letting go of a lanky Irish Wolfhound.

Deferred term in strangulation

A Chandler man facing a felony charge of domestic abuse by strangulation has pleaded no contest to an amended charge and drawn a deferred term.Formal felony charges were filed in Lincoln County District Court against Bradley Mark Mugele, 39 at the time, on Sep. 27, 2022.
