Helen Louise (Witt) Wiley was born July 9, 1938, in Oakland, Calif. She died Wednesday, February 23, 2022, in Lawton, Okla., at the age of 83. Wiley, the daughter of George Louis and Hazel Bell (Pettit) Witt, married Dewey A. Wiley on June 18, 1955, in Reno, Nev.

Linda (Clover) Neal, 71, of Mansfield, Texas and a former resident of Chandler, Okla., passed away Feb. 21, 2022, at Mansfield Methodist Hospital in Mansfield, Texas, of complications from lung cancer. Linda was born Sept. 9, 1950, in Stroud, Okla., to H.E. and Mary (Simpson) Clover.

Mary Louise Montignac of Chandler was born June 8, 1935, in Los Angeles, Calif., and died Wednesday, February 9, 2022. She was 86 years old. Montignac, the daughter of Robert and Virginia Craig, met her husband John Montignac in 1956.

Stabbing suspect arrested in Payne County

Lincoln County officers with assistance from the Payne County Sheriff’s Office arrested a subject recently involved in an alleged stabbing in Lincoln County. As a result, Joshua Chad Arnett, 39, of Stillwater, was formally charged Feb.
