Prague had the top three individuals and breezed to the girls championship at the 66 Conference cross country meet last week.McLoud claimed the boys championship.Jocelyn Ward won the meet with a time of 12:12.73, Hanna Rolette was second with a 12:17.

Impatient drivers can really be unnerving. Those that irritate me the most are the motorists who ignore travclaws while they are showing their impatience.I was driving down a two-lane street the other day that now has a 35-mile per hour speed limit. It had been 40 miles per hour.

A motion to revoke has been continued against a Shawnee man who earlier pleaded guilty and was handed a suspended sentence.Jonathon Lee Nice, 36, was formally charged in Lincoln County District Court with child abuse on Sep. 22, 2023.

Dale has the first two area teams to qualify for state competition this season.The fastpitch team, pictured at right, will play Howe in the Class 2A tournament at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Hall of Fame complex in OKC.The DLPS are 34-3 and ranked No. 1.
