Charles “Pat” Fredie Paterson was born December 6, 1941, in Corning, Ark., and died Monday, October 25, 2021. He was 79 years old.
Paterson, the son of Jake and Dorothy (Helms) Patterson, married Ardith Dingman on September 17, 1971, in Missouri.
He worked as a truck driver for Millers Truck Line.
Preceding him in death were his parents, his daughter Vicki Rowen, son Bobby Jo Cody and brother Donald Paterson.
Survivors include his wife Ardith Paterson, son Donald Gene Cody, sister and brother-in-law Kathy and Jerry Reeves, his sonin-law Raymond Rowen and other family and friends.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Friday, October 29, 2021, at Parks Brothers Stroud Chapel with Mike Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at Stroud Cemetery with care services provided by Parks Brothers Funeral Service of Stroud.
