An Agra woman has pleaded guilty to a felony charge and drawn a suspended prison term. A misdemeanor count against her was dismissed on a motion by the state.
A formal charge was filed in Lincoln County District Court on June 24 of possession of firearm after former conviction of a felony against Trista Marie Dye, 38. She was arrested by Lincoln County deputies.
She was also charged with the misdemeanor of pointing a weapon at another.
On Nov. 15, Lincoln County District Judge Cindy Ashwood received Dye’s plea of guilty and handed her a three-year suspended prison term.
Dye pleaded guilty as the result of a plea bargain agreement with the District Attorney’s Office.
The judge also assessed her a $500 fine, $100 VCA, ordered her to perform 40 hours of Community Service within six months and pay 991C fees.
Judge Ashwood dismissed the second charge against her.
Dye was placed on supervised probation with Oklahoma Court Services and ordered to report to the probation office and Court Clerk’s Office.
On Oct. 13, before Special Judge Emily Mueller, Dye waived her right to a preliminary hearing.
