Not only was there fruits and vegtables available, but also homemade baked goods, wood working pieces, pottery, jewelry and clothes.

There was even a booth that had bowties and treats for dogs.

Town Talk Volunteer and Farmers Market Organizer Mandy Clark said they plan on having the Farmers market every month until October, depending on the weather and vendors.

The next Farmers Market planned in Stroud is July 18. The theme is Military.

“They’re the ones bringing the fun stuff,” Clark said.

Clark said they are bringing a rock climbing wall.

This is the first time that Town Talk has hosted a Farmers Market.

Clark said she wanted to have this Farmers Market to not only give people one place to get their fruits and vegtables, but also show what the local community has to offer.

“I wanted to give people that have all these products a place to sell them,” she said.
