Patricia Beth Paolello, 58, was arrested on charges of Burglary in the Second Degree, a felony, and Possession of Controlled Dangerous Substance, a misdemeanor, by members of the Stroud Police Department. According to a Probable Cause Affidavit by Officer Shawn Stewart, he was dispatched to the residence of Larry Hollis, 513 West Eighth Street. The affidavit states the police department had been advised there was a person in the house without permission. Stewart stated he and Captain Jimmie Ahrend, also with the Stroud Police Department, arrived at the home and found the front door of the residence “wide open.” Captain Ahrend knocked on the door and advised Stewart there was someone inside the residence.
