In February, during a special meeting, commissioners voted to give the go ahead for final design plans for a jail expansion.
Dougherty said the day following the special meeting in February, “It will take six to eight months to design the plans. I still want to change some stuff,” he stated, noting, “I know they have to stay within jail standards.”
