A bench warrant has been issued for the arrest of a Bixby man facing four felony counts in connection with a theft at a Lincoln County residence recently.
Formal charges were filed in Lincoln County District Court on July 31 against Dalton Lee Watts, 29. wA $5,000 bench warrant was issued the same day he was charged.
The felonies filed include second degree burglary, identity theft– unlawful use of personal identifying information, knowingly receiving or concealing stolen property and pattern of criminal offenses.
In Count 1, second degree burglary, Watts is accused on June 10, 2024 of breaking into a house on E. 780 Road in Lincoln County owned by Tony Juarez and in which property of value was contained, by breaking into a window with the intent to steal.
Count 2, identity theft, charges him on about June 11, 2024 of impersonating another by representing himself to be Nathan Ozan and in such assumed character the defendant using Orzan’s ID to rent a storage unit, which if done by Orzan, would make him liable to any suit or prosecution or to pay sum of money or to incur any charge, forfeiture or penalty or any benefit accrue to the party personating to any other person.
Count 3 accuses Watts on about June 11 of concealing firearms that had been stolen from Tony Juarez and the defendant knew or had reasonable cause to believe had been stolen.
The fourth felony charges Watts with pattern of criminal offenses between June 10 and June 11, 2024, by committing two or more criminal offenses as part of the same plan, scheme or adventure in both Lincoln and Tulsa counties by committing second degree burglary, identity theft and concealing stolen property.
Assistant District Attorney Kelly Trimble filed supplemental information against Watts showing he has a previous felony conviction.
