Casey Lynn Ackerman of Stroud was born to Bryan and Leah (Brown) Ackerman on November 17, 1997, in Oklahoma City. She died Sunday, May 17, 2020, in Tulsa, Okla., at the age of 22 years.
Casey, a 2016 graduate of Stroud High School, worked at Williams Grocery and was a student at Tulsa Community College.
Preceding her in death were her maternal grandmother and seven great-grandparents.
Survivors include her parents; her sister and brother-in-law, Allison and Seth Messer; her brothers, Kendall Ackerman and Kyle Ackerman; her maternal grandfather and paternal grandparents; and other family and friends.
A memorial service was held Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at Stroud First Christian Church under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
