Charles Ross Hoover was born to Abel and Mary (Yates) Hoover on August 8, 1937, in Bethany, Okla. He died Tuesday, October 20, 2020, in Tulsa, Okla., at the age of 83 years.
Charles served in the United States Army and took mission trips to Uganda, Africa.
His parents and one sister, Shirley Mobley, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Roberta (Smith) Hoover of the home; his children, Julie Col lins and Kevin Hoover; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and other family and friends.
The family will host a private memorial service at a later date. Final arrangements were under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
