Funeral services will be held for Laura Waunita Williams at 2 p.m., Friday, November 29, 2019, at Wellston Missionary Baptist Church with Bro.
Dennis Osborne officiating. Burial will follow at Davenport Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
Williams was born March 21, 1921, in Chandler and died Saturday, November 23, 2019, at the age of 98 years.
The daughter of Kirby and Carrie Connor Williams, she married Lawrence Glendon Williams on November 13, 1937.
She was a member of Wellston Missionary Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her stepmother Margie (Dye) Williams; her husband; her daughter Carolyn Alexander Parker; her brother Melvin Williams; three sisters Margaret Williams Moreland, Luveta Williams Tulley and Esther Williams; and one granddaughter.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Glenda and Kent Potts and Anita and Butch Melrose; her son-in-law Jim Parker; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and other family and friends.
