There was discussion on the BIA 30 Bridge Project. There are several bridges that have engineering complete, but have not moved on to construction, though the project has until 2027 to be completed. The County is currently working on getting the environmental done so the projects can move forward.
The Commissioners also discussed posting signs on some roads as drivers enter the county stating that unless posted otherwise, the speed limit on all county roads is 35mph. A resolution regarding this will be on the agenda at the next meeting.
Other items that the Commissioners approved include an intergovernmental cooperative agreement with the Prague and Davenport Police Departments, a SS4A support letter for Central Oklahoma Regional Transportation Planning Organization, Election Board reimbursement and the Election Board Reimbursement Resolution for FY 26-27.
The also approved a resolution to extend the Solid Waste Grant Program, District #3 Unpaved Road grant replacement resolution, the application to Unpaved Roads Grant in District 2 and 3, the purchase of a tank car for District #1, an oil and gas lease with Prime NGL, LLC, and an agreement with Surveying and Mapping, LLC (SAM) for NG9-1-1 GIS data maintenance.
