Harrah woman charged with DUI

A Harrah woman was charged with driving under the influence and obstructing an officer after a one-car collision, according to court documents.

Tori Krueger was charged with one felony count of driving a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and a misdemeanor count of obstructing an officer on May 13. The charges were filed by District Attorney Adam Panter for an incident that occured on May 6.

Kreuger made her initial appearance on May 21 and is set to appear for a pre-preliminary hearing on July 21.

According to the probable cause affidavit, Trp. Preston Cox was on duty on May 6 when around 11:54 p.m., he was sent to a single-car collision on state highway 102 near E 1028 Road. He reported that when he arrived at the scene, he met with the driver, who was still in the vehicle. He asked the driver, who was later identified as Kreuger, to leave the vehicle, but she refused.

Cox reported in the affidavit that he asked her several times to get out of the car, but she did not, and that he smelled a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage. He stated in the report that she also had “red watery blood shot eyes and thick slurred speech.”

The report continued that Krueger was safely extricated from the car without injury and placed into handcuffs. Cox, believing that she was intoxicated, arrested her for driving under the influence.

Cox then transported Krueger to Saint’s Hospital in Shawnee where she was deemed fit for incarceration and then transported to the Lincoln County Jail, where she was booked, according to the report.
