As is our Thanksgiving tradition at the Lincoln County News, we asked first-graders at area elementary schools to give us recipes for cooking turkeys.
You might find a few ideas to try for yourself this Thanksgiving.

First, I would stuff the turkey then I would put it in the oven for 1 hour. Then I would season it and serve the turkey.
Asher Ahpeaone I would trap the turkey with a blanket then make it dizzy so it can’t see. Next, I would put it in a cooking pan and put it in the microwave for 20 seconds.
Jae Cannon I would put the turkey in the oven for 10 seconds then take it out, cut it up, and eat it.
Marcella Davis I would cook the turkey in the oven for 1 minute on degrees. Then take it out, cut it up, and eat it.
Vander Davis First, I would buy the best turkey from the store. I would put it in the oven for 3 minutes. Then I would add seasoning, stuff it, and eat it.

Iris Fox I would catch a turkey and take it home. Then I would fry it and cook it for about 8 minutes.
