Lauren Dollarhite, Jordan Glasgow and Gage Crews have been named Lions of the Month for January by the Chandler Lions Club.
Lauren Dollarhite is the daughter of Brandon and Rebecca Dollarhite. She has a 3.82 GPA and is ranked 23 in her class. She has taken Advanced English for three years and attended Gordan Cooper Technology Center for two years, studying Health Careers. Dollarhite has also taken General Psychology and History of the U.S. Since 1877 at the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO).
Dollarhite has been on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll once and won the Outstanding Student Award at Gordan Cooper in Health Careers. She was a Girls State Representative in 2024 and named Rotarian of the Month for January.
Dollarhite has been in band for three years, choir for three years and HOSA for two years.
In HOSA, she was elected the historian, secretary, and vice president. She’s also been a member of YAHL for one year.
Her community involvement includes participating in Angel Tree, donating Christmas gift bags to nursing homes, building awareness for “Be the Match” - the National Marrow Donor Program, and taking part in Legacy Parenting fundraisers, Salvation Army Canned Food Drive and the Salvation Army Coat Drive.
Dollarhite works at the Chandler Nursing Home.
After graduation and earning her CMA, Dollarhite plans to attend Gordan Cooper’s Licensed Practical Nursing program with their 13th-year scholarship for returning students. After receiving her LPN, she plans to pursue a Bachelor of Nursing at UCO. She wishes to become a nurse practitioner and work in a clinic so she can interact directly with the public and help the general population of Oklahoma.
Jordan Glasgow is the daughter of April McDaniel and Chad Glasgow. She has a 3.76 GPA and is ranked 28th in her class.
Glasgow has been a varsity cheerleader since 2021 and was a member of Postponing Sexual Involvement in 2022. She was a member of the OSSAA 3A Cheerleading Regional Champions team and won the OSSAA Academic Excellence Award three years in a row. She’s also a UCA Spirit Stick Winner (202324), was Stunt State Runner-Up in 2024 and a 2024 Junior Wrestling Homecoming Candidate.
Glasgow has been very involved with the community. She took part in Stamp Out Starvation in 2022-23; the Rally for Royanna Fundraiser in 2022-23; the Ice Cream Festival in 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024; Relay for Life/Pinkout in 2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24 and 2024-25; Adopt a Child in 2021-22, 2022-23 and 202324; the Halloween Carnival in 2021-22, 2022-23 and 2023-24; and the Bellcow Crawfish Boil in 2021-22 and 2022-23.
She’s also a former member of the Chandler Friends Church and has taken part in the Christmas Toy Drive for Kids there. She’s currently a member of the Kendrick Community Church and volunteered to make pumpkin rolls with the church.
Glasgow has worked at Ken’s Pizza, is a Sunday School co-teacher at Kendrick Community Church and currently works at Boomarang Diner.
After graduation, Glasgow plans to attend Oklahoma City University, where she will pursue a degree in Sports Medicine and continue her athletic career as a member of the All-Girl Stunt team.
Gage Crews is the son of Gary and Candace Crews. He has a 4.0 GPA and is ranked first in his class. He has taken three years of AP English and one semester of English Composition 1.
Crews has been involved in the band for four years, during which he helped it win the OSSAA Band Sweepstakes Award for two years. He also made the Cimarron Valley Honor Band one year. He’s been in Gifted & Talented for four years, Positive Peers for three years, Postponing Sexual Involvement for three years, YAHL for one year and Camp Cargill Leadership Summit for one year. He’s also been Rotarian of the Month.
Crews has attended the WGGP Conference, helped the local museum with gardening and volunteered at the Halloween Carnival.
After graduation, Crews plans to attend Oklahoma State University and obtain a bachelor’s degree.
