Lincoln County commissioners this week voted to approve a letter of amendment from the Bureau of Indian Affairs increasing funds for the 30 Bridge Project.
They also adopted a resolution increasing the BIA’s portion of funding for the 30-Bridge Project.
The increase to the county amounts to around $4 million, County Clerk Alicia Wagnon said during the meeting.
Commissioners, after spending some time in executive session, returned to open meeting and voted to keep Charlotte Brown, Tyler Hogsett and Iris Harris at the same status.
Brown is the county’s Emergency Management Director, Hogsett is Deputy Director and Harris 911 director.
Commissioners also voted to accept the award of a $150,000 Opioid Abatement grant and agreement.
After hearing a presentation from Seth Housley with ISolved software, commissioners voted to go out for bids for software for the county.
They awarded a bid of $35,002.66 to Redline Fire Supply for a 400-gallon skid unit fabrication for the Fallis Fire Department.
They approved a construction contract with Railroad Yard Services, LLC for two bridges.
Commissioners also approved a construction contract with Highpoint Partners for a bridge.
In other business, commissioners: Approved the resale property fund financial statement.
Adopted a resolution authorizing use of ARPA funds to pay rent for OSU Office space.
Approved a yearly contract between the Lincoln County Health Department and Falco Alarm Co, of Stillwater, Inc.
Approved annual road certifications for District 1.
Approved an Industrial Access project agreement for District 1.
Took no action on an ODOT form for the Kickapoo Street Project in District 3.
Approved changes to the Unpaved Roads Grant program documents that were approved during the June 3 meeting for District 3. District 3 Commissioner and Chairman Lee Doolen said they had the wrong documents earlier.
Held up on adopting a resolution to set up an account for the Unpaved Roads Grant Matching funds.
Agreed to a contract with changes between Eastern Oklahoma Youth Services and Lincoln County for Juvenile Detention Services at Pittsburg County Regional Juvenile Detention Center.
Adopted a resolution for county road machinery and equipment revolving fund lease renewal and the insurance verification form with Oklahoma Transportation for Fiscal Year 2024-2025.
Adopted a resolution to continue leased equipment fund–Use Tax Funds.
Voted to accept Opioid Abatement Settlement checks from Allergan LPS Settlement and Teva LPS Settlement.
Voted to cover the cost of indigent burial.
Adopted a resolution for an ACCO-SIF 2024/2025 Workman’s Compensation Renewal quote of $213,852, an increase of about $6,000 over last year.
Approved a resolution for allocation of Use Tax funds for the Emergency Management Director’s salary for Fiscal Year 2024-2025.
Approved a contract for personnel services with the Lincoln County E911 Trust Authority and Lincoln County commissioners.
