Lincoln County Commission

Lincoln County commissioners during a brief, special meeting this week adopted a Use Tax resolution for E-911 payroll.

It was explained the total amount is $50,000 to be paid at around $4,100 monthly. County Clerk Alicia Wagnon said the invoice wouldn’t be paid until the last meeting of the month.

Commissioners also voted to proceed with purchase of a pole trailer for Districts 1, 2 and 3. District 2 Commissioner Marlon Miller said he would research what a new one will cost.

The trailer will be shared among all three districts.

The commissioners approved an addendum to the OSU Extension Commercial Lease agreement with Joe Ready.

They approved holding a Lincoln County Job Fair at the courthouse from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Oct. 13.

And they approved a transfer of appropriations.

They discussed whether to appoint a Fair Board member from District 2. Miller said three persons have expressed interest in it.

They took no action on appointing anyone which will leave that seat vacant until the annual Fair Board election in February.

Miller noted that will leave eight members on the board until then who regularly attend the Fair Board meetings.
