January Rotary students of the month

Ashlee Beatty, Rylee Beatty and Pamela Wood have been named Student Rotarians of the Month for January.

Ashlee Beatty is the daughter of Jennifer and Ralph “Bo” Pryor and Danny Beatty, and has five siblings.

After graduation, Ashlee plans to attend the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO) in the fall of 2024 and major in graphic design. She also plans to try out for the UCO mascot - Buddy the Bronco - and hopes to launch a career selling her own art.

Ashlee made the 2023 Superintendent’s Honor Roll, achieved Academic Excellence in Wildlife Management in 2023, and earned FFA Greenhand in 2020 and 2023. She has also won OSSAA Sweepstakes in choir in 2022 and 2023 and All-American Mascot in 2023, for which she performed in the halftime show of the Citrus Bowl. Additional awards for mascot include the UCA Crowd Pleaser Award (2023), the Traditional Mascot Award (2023), the UCA Overall Spirit Award and various others.

She has participated in the Music Makers choir for two years, varsity cheer as mascot (Leo the Lion) for two years and FFA for four years.

Ashlee has been involved in and assisted with the Greenfield Girl Scout Day Camp, Stamp Out Starvation, Chandler Sweeps, FFA Chamber Banquet, CHS Alumni Banquet, FFA Bash for Cash, Chamber Crawfish Bowl, Hiland Dairy Ice Cream Festival, Lincoln County Relay for Life, DHS Christmas Adopt a Child, FFA Fall Plant Sale and Royanna’s Soup De Doup.

Rylee Beatty is the daughter of Jennifer and Ralph “Bo” Pryor and Danny Beatty, and has five siblings.

After graduation, Rylee plans to attend the cosmetology program at Gordon Cooper Technology Center or enlist in the United States Air Force.

Rylee was a state qualifier in cross country for three years and an FFA Greenhand for two years.

She has competed in cross country for four years, track for four years and wrestling for one year. Rylee is also a member of the Native American Student Association (NASA), FFA, Peer Mentor Program, BancFirst Student Board of Directors and Rotary Club.

She’s volunteered with Chandler Sweeps, Chamber Banquet, Alumni Banquet and Bash for Cash, and been an aide at Greenfield Day Camp since she was 12.

Pamela Wood is the daughter of Geoffrey Wood and Linda Rivera and the stepdaughter of Elizeo Rivera. She has three older brothers, two older sisters, one younger sister and two younger brothers.

She plans to attend the University of Oklahoma (OU) and attain a master’s degree in law or major in forensic sciences. Pamela hopes to either work as a lawyer or at a police department as part of the forensics team.

Pamela has maintained a 3.05 GPA throughout her high school career. She is currently enrolled in AP English and is very active in her high school community. She is a member of Business Professionals of America (BPA), fastpitch softball, slowpitch softball and Future Farmers of America (FFA).

Pamela has volunteered in programs such as the Chain of Love, communityoriented markets, Veteran’s Day programs, American Legion markets and local donation opportunities.
