The McLoud High School Alumni Association held its fall meeting of Tuesday, Sept. 14th, at the Ferrell building in McLoud. Those attending enjoyed a good “finger lick’n” chicken lunch with side dishes and homemade desserts. Various topics were tabled.
This year’s Redskin Remember Honor Roll Program recipients were either mailed or presented in person plaques for their dedicated teaching and administrative work; Willis McCoy (Band ), Harold Scott (High School Principal/Coach), Dawna Green (Elementary Teacher), Donna Magruder (PC Teacher/Coach) and Rick Ray (Junior High Principal). The main plaques are always on display in the J. E. Walker Field House Trophy Case.
A discussion was held about a possible Reunion/ Reception for all alumni to coincide with the McLoud Blackberry Festival, July, 2022. More information will be available on location and times in the near future.

The Alumni Association gathered a generous amount and the most ever in dues and or donations this year. The Association is honored to represent this generosity as it demands integrity and forthright guidance in placing these monies in our school where most beneficial. We have contacted various school administrators for inputs. To give back collectively through your Alumni Association is a great way to show pride and to help students and teachers in their daily effort of education. Donations can be sent to P.O. Box 534, McLoud, Oklahoma 74851 anytime during the year. The Association is a non-profit organization, but is not tax exempt or 501 C 3 under the IRS code.
