David Wayne Burrows was born March 29, 1959, to Elva Burrows and Joyce Irene (Van Dusen) Burrows. He passed away April 11, 2023 in Tulsa at the age of 64.
David grew up in Oklahoma City and Davenport, got married in 1978 and had four children before divorcing.
He spent his career selfemployed in the drywall business with his father, Rip, and sons, Jeremy and Boone, making it a true family affair through the years!
David was preceded in death by his parents Rip and Joyce; siblings Dale, Myrna, Christy and husband Jerry, Christopher; and son Jeremy Burrows. Survivors include his bonus mom Peggy; sisters Karen and partner George, Angela and husband Johnny; children Misty and husband Jeff, Daniel, Katy and husband Zach; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; as well as many other family members and friends.
A celebration of David’s life was held Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at the First Baptist Church in Davenport, with interment following at Davenport Cemetery in Davenport, OK. Arrangements were under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
