Marvin Lynn Davis, age 93, of Perkins, Okla., died at his home on Tuesday, December 14, 2021. Funeral services were held Monday, December 20, 2021 at Immanuel Baptist Church in Perkins with burial following in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation was in charge of the arrangements.
Marvin was born in Coyle, Oklahoma on October 22, 1928 to Lester Lee and Mary Etta (Coon) Davis. He was a graduate of Coyle High School and attended Oklahoma State University. He was married to Carol (Henderson) Davis who preceded him in death on November 5, 2011.
He was a well-known area contractor and was also a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.
Members of his family include his sons, Lynn Davis, and Jay Davis and wife Gayle (Arthur) Davis; his son-in-law Leon Morris; his sister Donna Baldivid; seven grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. He was also predeceased by his daughter Mary Morris.
