1. Update on Homestead Park
A. Congratulations to Mrs. Donnell Jones for making the first contribution to the Homestead Park Fund. We really appreciate the fine donation. It will put many smiles on a lot of adults and children.
B. The Town is still taking donations for benches, tables, chairs, playground equipment & mulch for safety.
2. Update on Streets and Alleys
A. Potholes on S. Dawson have received cold patch.
B. Local Streets are being repaired, in between rainstorms with cold patch for potholes & gravel in the larger areas.
3. Update on Limb & Branch Chipping
A. Still waiting on a call from Chandler or Prague letting us borrow their chipper.
B. We are still allowing you to take your limbs to the Sewer Plant & unload them & we will burn them for you.
4. The Summer Swim Program will take place again this year for our Meeker Residents & children. This is held at the Prague City Pool. Check with Laverne Babinchak for details at BancFirst (405) 279-3535.
5. Independence Day celebration will be held July 3rd. Fireworks will be at the Lake again. More to come on this event. Vendors may call Brandy Osburn 640-7787
6. Update from the Meeker Round Up Club
A. Start your plans for attending this year’s 56th Annual Meeker Rodeo & Parade, which was announced by Dr. Deseree Brown, to be held this year on June 25th & 26th.
7. Update from Meeker Library
A. Friends of the Library announced that the Summer Reading Program will be held again this year at the Meeker Library.
