This is the Fifty-Third article in a permanent column for Stroud Arts that appears in the Stroud American. The mission of these articles is to inform, educate and inspire you, the reader, to Make Art Happen in your life and the life of our community.

The longest running program hosted by Stroud Arts is our Role-Playing Game Day Event.

We have hosted weekly, monthly and seasonal events since the creation of Stroud Arts back in 2014.

Long term readers of this column will remember that I first mentioned RPG’s last year in Column Fifteen where I relied greatly on Wikipedia for accurate information.

The original 2020 program and event schedule for Stroud Arts listed Twelve Monthly afternoon games, to be held on the 4th Sunday of the month, and Four All Day RPG Day Events, to be held on a Saturday, each season.

During our Sunday event, we coordinated Three Campaign Games that hosted up to Eight players per game allowing up to Twenty-Seven participants at a time!

With the Covid-19 Shutdown, we cancelled our events, hoping that at some time we could return to our regularly scheduled programming once everything returned to normal.

Now that Fall has arrived, and with it the return of students and teachers to schools and the return of large community events, we are returning to our regularly scheduled programing… with a slight schedule and programming change.

Many people are busy on the weekend so we are hosting ‘Tuesday Night Tabletop!’

We will begin gaming at 6 p.m. at Stroud Arts and we will have one campaign game hosting up to Eight Players.

This is a decrease in allowable players from our previous events but if more players want to join, we will add a second Game. We will create an event on Facebook for players to sign up and help us prepare for the event.

For potential players, here is the background of the Game Setting.

“They came from other Cosmos, other realities and their storms change our world into something, someplace else.

“They came to steal the Possibility Energy of our Earth. Led by the Gaunt Man and his realm of Gothic Horrors, Dr. Mobius and his realm of 1930’s pulp Villains, Kanawa and the secretive Pan-Pacifica where Ninjas fight with street samurai, Baruk Kaah and his primitive Lost World where Reptile People command Dinosaurs and The Fantasy land of Aysle, home to Giants, Elves, Dwarves and Magic.”

But Earth is not without its Heroes!

Those changed by the Reality Storms stand together to repel these Possibility Raiders!

Will they succeed in saving our world or will the Invaders strip our world of its Possibility Energy and become a hopeless, lifeless husk?

Will you stand with the heroes of Earth? Will you protect our Reality? Will you win ‘The Possibility Wars?’ See you Tuesday, September 15 at 6 p.m.!
