1. Update on Grants
A. We met with Arthur Pittman & Brandon Ledington, on Monday, to fill out paperwork for a grant from USDA for $150K, for repairs from the winter storm damage.
B. Closing paperwork was finalized on the OWRB ER Grant this week, which now makes us eligible for more grants from them.
C. Bailey’s Paving Co. completed the asphalt pavement of 19,800 SF on S. Koonce and then 3,960 SF on N. Koonce. This was made possible by a grant from COEDD.
2. Update on Growth & Development
A. The old car wash has been cleared and is ready to be used by Growth & Development.
3. Update on Glenn Crest Park
A. On Friday, Chad Lower, started the process of putting up the new 12’ x 21’ pavilion.
B. We purchased 5 octagon, stained, picnic tables from Tyler Dueck, who delivered them on Thursday.
C. I can see the ribbon cutting date getting close, for the Grand Opening. (No date announcement yet).
4. Update on City Hall
A. We closed on property, located at 312 S. Fowler.
Demolition will begin on Monday.
