Stroud Council votes to hire Wilbourn as city manager

The Stroud City Council voted to hire Jeff Wilbourn, current Meeker town administrator, as the new city manager at its regular meeting on Aug. 13.

Meeker Trustees issue written warning for chief

The Meeker Board of Trustees voted to issue a written warning to the Meeker police chief over an incident involving a police officer-in-training at the library during its regular meeting on Aug. 17.

Davenport School Board

The Davenport School Board passed raises in cafeteria prices, the state minimum teacher salary schedule and reapproved the superintendent’s contract at its regular meeting on July 13.Cafeteria prices were set at $2.00 for adult breakfast, $3.00 for adult lunch, $.50 for milk and $1.

Early voting begins Aug. 20
