McLoud High School has announced the valedictorians and salutatorian of the Class of 2026. Addison Adams, Dawsen Branum, Jordyn Dennis, Dani Easley, Kaleb Fox, Lillian Lee, Taycee Lewis, Lydia Reece and Launa Troutt are the valedictorians, while Jonathan Yang is the salutatorian.

Wellston FFA performed well during the 100th Oklahoma FFA Convention on May 6, with two members coming home with hardware.

State champs!

Area athletes brought home seven state championships over the weekend. Stroud’s Peyton Davis won the Class 2A 100-meter dash and 100-meter hurdles, giving her an incredible 11 state championships in her career. She won the 100 meters four years in a row.
