Trial moved until May

The trial for a woman who was employed as a full time in-home nurse and charged with child abuse has been continued until the May jury docket. Candice Elizabeth Bootenhoff, 39, of Luther was formally charged Oct. 31, 2022 in Lincoln County District Court with felony child abuse.

Prague man pleads guilty

A Prague man has entered a blind guilty plea on a first degree manslaughter charge and his sentencing has been scheduled. A formal charge was filed March 2 this year in Lincoln County District Court against Joseph Resin Linnhuber. The charge is the result of a fatal traffic collision.

Hearings set in abuse

Pre-preliminary hearings have been set for a pair charged with felony child abuse. Megan Marie Nash, 35, Meeker and Jonathon Lee Nice, 36, Shawnee were formally charged in Lincoln County District Court on Sep. 22.

Hearing set in grow house burglary

A preliminary hearing has been set for one defendant facing multiple charges in an area armed grow burglary in late October. A pre-preliminary hearing has been scheduled for the other individual charged with eight felonies.
