Lincoln County commissioners in their most recent meeting adopted a resolution for erosion control and a driveway for the new OSU Extension office and approved a resolution for a refund request from the Lincoln County County Citizens Alliance.

No bond in St. Cloud case

A supersedeas bond of $300,000 for the St. Cloud buildings was not posted by the deadline of Dec. 16, according to the Lincoln County Court Clerk’s Office, opening up the way for the City of Chandler to demolish the historic hotel buildings.

Former judge back in court

Former district judge Craig Key was booked at the Lincoln County Jail on Dec. 12 and appeared before Judge Emily Mueller on Dec. 19 for violating his probation terms, according to court records.

Abuse felony charge added for Sparks man

A Sparks man who already has seven previous felony convictions faces a new felony.Richard William Long, 55, was formally charged in Lincoln County District Court Dec. 8, 2025 with domestic abuse—assault and battery.
