Fire conditions continue heating up under burn ban

The high heat and little to no rain over the past several weeks have exacerbated the fire situation in Lincoln County.Fire departments and Emergency Management have recorded an increase in fire calls compared to previous years.The Lincoln County Commissioners approved a burn ban last Wednesday.

A Prague couple facing over 40 felony charges between them related to child sexual abuse and physical abuse have waived their rights to a speedy trial.Kimberly Ann Frisbie, 51, stood before District Judge Sarah Bridge on Aug. 25 and waived her right to a speedy trial.
