Linda Jean Norman Berry of Davenport was born June 11, 1946, in Cedar City, Utah. She died Saturday, August 22, 2020, after a long battle with cancer. She was 74 years old. Berry married Carl Berry on May 20, 1966.

Sally Karen Gragg was born to Charles and Francis (Gilmore) Hoover on February 26, 1940, in Drumright, Okla. She died Monday, August 24, 2020, in Agra at the age of 80 years. A memorial service is pending and will be announced at a later date.

Elmer “Kelly” Andrew Hunt

Elmer “Kelly” Andrew Hunt was born to Bill Hunt and Nellie Louise (Hull) Boyts on August 19, 1964, in Pawhuska, Okla. He died Tuesday, August 25, 2020, at the age of 56 years. Kelly, a citizen of the Potawatomi Nation, attended high school in Pratt, Kan.

Rickey Lynn Melson

It is with great sadness that the family of longtime Chandler resident Rickey Lynn Melson announce his sudden passing on Monday, August 24, 2020. Rick was born May 5, 1958, the son of Mark Leo and Lorena (Acord) Melson and grew up on the family farm southeast of Chandler.

James Robert “Bob” King, of Eufaula, passed away on August 23, 2020 at the age of 93. Bob was born on May 21, 1927 in Lincoln County, Oklahoma near the town of Meeker. His parents were Vern Laster King and Easter Ogilvie King.

Warren Levon Spurgeon

Warren Levon Spurgeon was born July 11, 1928, in Agra. He died Tuesday, August 25, 2020, in Chandler at the age of 92 years. Spurgeon, the son of Charles Levon and Mary (Boyd) Spurgeon, married Imogene Frisbie in Poteau, Okla.

Eleanor Collier

Eleanor “Rusty” Collier, died of pneumonia on 20 August 2020 at the age of 94. Rusty is survived by two daughters, Susan and Christine. She is predeceased by her husband, Bob; her sister, Wanda; and her daughters, Kathy, Sara, and Roberta.

Geneva Gertrude Melson

Geneva Gertrude Melson was born April 26, 1922, in Midlothian, Okla. She died Friday, August 28, 2020, in Hennessey, Okla., at the age of 98 years. Melson, the daughter of John and Martha (Reddell) Walker, married Richard E. Melson on December 19, 1940, in Bristow, Okla.

Mary Elizabeth Eldredge

Mary “Monkey” Elizabeth Eldredge was born June 9, 1927, in Cushing, Okla., and died Sunday, August 30, 2020. She was 93 years old. Eldredge, the daughter of Ernest and Eunice (Gokey) Clark, married James Eldredge on September 24, 1947. She was a homemaker.
