Evie Lois Sebastian

Evie Lois Sebastian, 85, of Meeker, went to be with the Lord Sunday, July 26, 2020 at her home. Evie, the daughter of John and Stella (Mooney) Hogue, was born December 3, 1934 in Tupelo. On November 5, 1955, she married Otis Sebastian in Shawnee.

Louis D. Marak

Louis was born April 12, 1930, on a farm near Meeker, Okla., to Joseph and Mark (Petricek) Marak. He died Wednesday, July 15, 2020, at the age of 90 years. Lou attended the University of Oklahoma briefly before being drafted into the Korean War. He served in the U.S.

Richard L. Weast

A memorial service was held for Richard L. Weast on Saturday, July 25, 2020, at the Agra Senior Citizens Center. Weast, formerly of Rockford, Ill., died Saturday, July 11, 2020, at the age of 77 years. After the death of his first wife Patricia Geisinger Weast in 2013, he married Irene V.

A.J. Sirmons

Graveside services with military honors for A.J. Sirmons were held at Lone Grove Cemetery (old) at 2:00 pm, Monday, July 27, 2020, with the Rev. Bruce Kirby officiating. A.J. was born April 20, 1929, at Lone Grove, Okla., to Benjamin Franklin and Josephine (Pierce) Sirmons.

Marion Rice

A memorial celebrating the life of Marion Rice will be 2 p.m., Friday, August 7, 2020, at First Baptist Church of Chandler. Rice requested that attendees wear colorful clothing and not black. Final arrangements were under the direction of John Ireland Funeral Home in Moore.

James Youngblood

James Youngblood was born January 12, 1942, in McLoud, Okla., and died Wednesday, July 22, 2020, in Tulsa, Okla. He was 78 years old. Youngblood, the son of Lorene and Myrtle (Martin) Youngblood, married Wilma Jean Seward in 1964. He later married Clorett Youngblood.

A memorial service will be held for Joallen Sue Bartell at 12 p.m., Saturday, July 25, 2020, at the family home in Chandler. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.

Sheila Ann Mosley

Sheila Ann “Rosebud” Mosley of Stroud was born to Charles James Mosley and Mary V. (Dickerson) Pryor on November 5, 1966. She died Thursday, July 9, 2020, in Oklahoma City at the age of 53 years. Rosebud was a 1985 graduate of Prague High School and worked in social work and child development.

Marion Dolores King

Marion Dolores King of Meeker was born March 8, 1930, in Meeker. She died Wednesday, July 15, 2020, in Meeker at the age of 90 years. King, the daughter of Ernest and Lela Gallaway, married Hershell Clyde King on March 16, 1949, in Borger, Texas. She graduated from Carney High School in 1948.
