Edna Nova Herrmann, age 91, went to be with her Lord on March 2, 2022, surrounded by family at her home in Chandler, Okla. Nova was born September 15, 1930, in Chickasha, Okla., to Henry Franklin and Edna (Kitching) Butler. Nova and her family always lived around Lincoln County.

Karen Onettia (Feil) Hajny

Karen Onettia (Feil) Hajny formerly of Wellston, Okla., who resided in Kopperl, Texas in her later years, passed away on March 1, 2022, at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Shawnee, Okla., with her children and grandchildren beside her.

A funeral service will be held for Rickey Don Hilburn, 61, of Stroud at 10 a.m., Thursday, March 10, 2022, at Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Stroud with Pastor Mike Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at Stroud Cemetery under the care of Parks Brothers Funeral Service.

Services will be held for Sylva Alice (Hixon) Summers of Stroud at 10 a.m., Monday, March 14, 2022, with Pastors Will Fine and Mike Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at Stroud Cemetery under the care of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud. Visitation is 3-8 p.m.

Billy Jack Russell

Billy Jack Russell, 94, was born to Stephen and Jimmie Russell on August 11, 1927, in Strawn, Texas. He died Wednesday, March 2, 2022. Billy served in the United States Air Force. He and his wife Margaret, owned and operated Russell’s Auction, south of Chandler.

Donald Ray Gordon

Donald Ray Gordon was born August 30, 1963, in Stilwell, Okla., and died Friday, March 4, 2022, in Tulsa, Okla. He was 58 years old. Gordon, the son of Melburn and Bessie (Sanders) Gordon, married Sandra Gordon in Eureka Springs, Ark.

Judith Ann (Malm) Friskup

Judith Ann (Malm) Friskup, age 81, of Muleshoe, Texas, died Wednesday, February 23, 2022 in Muleshoe. She was born August 15, 1940 to Roy and Louella Malm in New Ulm, Minn. She married her high school sweetheart, Kent Friskup, on October 10, 1959.

Marjorie May Webb

Marjorie May Webb of Riley, Kan., was born May 12, 1936, in Chandler. She died Thursday, February 17, 2022, in Clay Center, Kan., at the age of 85. Webb, the daughter of Perry C. and Orah L. (Melson) Myers, married Gordon L. Webb on December 8, 1958.

Jimmy Beaird

Jimmy Beaird was born to Curley and Gertrude (Hornbeak) Beaird on July 28, 1957, in Los Angeles, Calif. He died Monday, February 14, 2022, in Cushing, Okla., at the age of 64 years. Jimmy, a 1975 graduate of Stroud High School, built houses and cars and worked for TRW in Redondo Beach, Calif.
