Staff writer Blestin Miller hit a twisting jumper from the lane with one second left, lifting Prague to a 64-63 win over McLoud in the finals of the Bethel tournament Friday. Miller led Prague with 23 points and found himself with the ball in his hands as time was running out.

There were 1.9 seconds left to play when the referee’s whistle sounded. The Meeker girls were ahead of Wellston by two - 48-46 - but now Wellston would get to bring the ball in on its own baseline. The game was stake, but there was a lot more on the line for the Lady Bulldogs. So much more.
