A Harrah man, rather than go to trial, has pleaded guilty to two counts of lewd or indecent acts to a child under 16.Christian Watkins was formally charged in Lincoln County District Court with the two counts.

The Chandler Municipal Authority approved a matching funds letter of $500,000 for the Rainbow Park Project to be submitted to the TSET Legacy Grant at their monthly meeting on June 10.The project aims to renovate the city pool and Rainbow Park if the city wins the reimbursement grant.

Another Stroud Summer Fest has wrapped up. Congratulations to the Chamber of Commerce and the City of Stroud for a successful event. I was out of town, but I heard nothing but rave reviews about the event.
