Chandler Board of Education meeting

Chandler Board of Education members this week employed several new personnel, accepted the resignations of five people and approved several policy updates and revisions.

They also approved several for adjunct teaching positions.

School Supt. Scott Baade said following an executive an executive session board members returned to open meeting and approved new personnel including: Janet Blocker, STEM teacher; Stewart Campbell, Special Education teacher; Scott Howell, Secondary teacher; Karis Schevetto, paraprofessional; and Kyle Lawrence, full time custodian/groundskeeper/maintenance worker.

They approved Christon Cummings as Title IX coordinator.

Adjunct teachers hired include Jack Gray, four hours of 7th-12th grade Health/Physical Education for the 2025-2026 school year; Andrew Cunningham, two hours of 7th-12th grade Health/Physical Education for the 2025-2026 school year; Brianna Godfrey, one hour of 7th-12th grade Health/Physical Education and four hours of Mid-Level Science for the 2025-2026 school year.

And Hannah Smith one hour of 7th-12th grade Health/Physical Education for the 2025-2026 school year; Ashley Weaver, one hour of 7th-12th grade Health/Physical Education for the 2025-2026 school year; Franklin Ward, four hours of 7th-12th grade Human Geography and four hours of Oklahoma History for the 2025-2026 school year; Scott Howell, two hours of Psychology and two hours of Human Geography for the 2025-2026 school year; and Connie Davis, one hour of Earth Science for the 2025-2026 school year.

They accepted the resignations of Marcy Potts, STEM Teacher; Renee Smith, Social Worker; Karen Flowers, Paraprofessional; Taryn Gibson, Paraprofessional; and Crystal Wall, Paraprouesional.

The board approved a number of committees and appointed personnel to those.
