Grand jury: Oust the DA

A Multi-County grand jury has recommended that District Attorney Allan Grubb be removed from office and has requested the District Court order his immediate suspension. The accusation for removal against Grubb accuses him of habitual or willful neglect of duty, oppression in office and corruption.

Meeker board member charged with solicitation

A Meeker School Board member, who was re-elected to a new five-year term without opposition last December, has been charged with soliciting prostitution. Bret Wood, 53, was charged on June 16 of this year with the misdemeanor. He is accused of between Aug. 23, 2020 and Sep.
