Meeker town board adopts 22-23 budget

Meeker’s Town Board this week adopted a resolution approving the General Fund budget for 2022-2023 and later, meeting as the Public Works Authority, approved its 2022-2023 budget as well. The board also accepted the resignations of two persons and hired two people.

Pre-preliminary hearing set in Stroud case

A pre-preliminary hearing has been scheduled for a man facing six charges, including one felony and five misdemeanors, after Stroud police arrested him during a traffic stop. Formal charges were filed April 7 in Lincoln County District Court against Daniel Frank Kozlowski, 43, of Bristow.

Planning commission to consider zoning

The Chandler Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing at 6 p.m. this evening (Thursday, June 30) to consider rezoning property for a sports center. The meeting will be held at Chandler City Hall, 414 Manvel Ave. in Chandler.

Drug bust hearing pushed to September

The preliminary hearing has been continued until September for the owner of two Lincoln County marijuana growing operations after his facilities were seized and shut down in February. A formal charge was filed Feb.

Baseball season is coming to an end. I just spent the last week in Destin, Florida watching Gideon play in the World Series for his age group. It was a wonderful experience for their team. They played in the championship and fell a little short but were excited to take home second place.
