Maryland woman booked on drug charge

An out-of-state woman who faced a felony drug charge and four other misdemeanors, has pleaded guilty and received deferred terms on all five counts. Autumn Renay Bennett, 37, of Baltimore, Md., was formally charged on Nov.

Trial set in shooting of Lincoln County man

A jury trial has been scheduled for a Wellston man charged with first degree murder in the shooting death of a 21-year-old Lincoln County resident last summer. Freddie Antonie Seamster, 38, is accused of fatally shooting 21-year-old Lucas Goss with a firearm in Lincoln County on July 5.

Additional felonies filed on Chandler man

A Chandler man who already had been charged with a felony in November, now faces three additional felony counts. Christopher Allen Michael Hyde, 20, was charged Nov. 10 in Lincoln County District Court with knowingly receiving or concealing stolen property.

Laura Joyce Forgey was born September 13, 1932, in Dalhart, Texas. She was the daughter of W. A. Chapman and Gail B. Witt Chapman. She ascended to her heavenly home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on December 10, 2021, at the age of 89.

Rena Fern Johnson

Rena Fern Johnson was born February 23, 1946, in Chandler and died Wednesday, December 8, 2021. She was 75 years old. After retiring as a manager at Southwestern Bell, Johnson became the owner and operator of Flowers, Books & More in Wellston.

Sue Brooks Lawrence

Sue Brooks Lawrence was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on October 22, 1951. She was a long-time resident of Chandler, Okla., and passed away on December 4, 2021, at the age of 70. Sue enjoyed to garden and cook and was a homemaker.

Patsy Mae Davis

Patsy Mae (Parker) Davis was born October 22, 1933, in Skiatook, Okla. She died Monday, December 6, 2021, at her home in Agra. She was 88 years old. Davis, the daughter of Ernest and Beatrice (Stevens) Parker, married Ferman Davis on April 19, 1952.
