The Lincoln County Health Department’s Women, Infants and Children Supplemental Nutrition Program offers it services to families who need encouragement and support in feeding their children.
It also helps participants improve their diet, get immunizations and encourages women to breastfeed.
WIC offers up-to-date specialized nutrition education along with a generous food package for growing children from the prenatal period up to age five. Certain guidelines must be met for participation in the program.
